A trademark can be a symbol, word, phrase or design that distinguishes the source of the goods or services. Also, as trade-dress, it can be the appearance of a product or its packaging, including size, shape, colour, texture, graphics, and appearance (e.g. website).
Trademarks are adjectives and should not be made into verbs or made plural or possessive.
Galaxkey trademarks and brands are Galaxkey’s intellectual property and are among our valuable assets. In order to preserve and protect our trademarks and our brand, it is essential that they are used properly in all communications, documents, and electronic messages.
By using a Galaxkey trademark, in whole or in part, you are acknowledging that Galaxkey is the sole owner of the trademark and agreeing that you will not interfere with Galaxkey’s rights relating to the trademark. Except for the limited right to use as permitted under these Guidelines and as consented by Galaxkey, no other rights of any kind are granted hereunder, by implication or otherwise.
These Guidelines apply to Galaxkey employees, customers, partners, authorised resellers, developers, licensees, outside vendors, and other third parties wishing to use Galaxkey trademarks, service marks or images in promotional, advertising, instructional, reference materials, or on their websites, products, labels or packaging.
If you are a Licensee of a Galaxkey trademark or logo, your license agreement may have usage guidelines that vary from those provided here. If so, please follow the specific guidelines in your agreement with Galaxkey. If you have not been provided with specific guidelines for usage of Galaxkey brands, then these Guidelines apply to your usage of Galaxkey trademarks and intellectual property. Use of the Galaxkey trademarks and intellectual property without the prior written consent of Galaxkey may constitute trademark infringement.
You may reference Galaxkey’s products and services using the Galaxkey trademarks, so long as such references are truthful, fair and not misleading and comply with these Guidelines. Galaxkey trademarks and brands should never be used in a manner that could cause anyone wrongly to believe that your products or services are offered, endorsed, or sponsored by Galaxkey or any of its affiliates. You may not use a Galaxkey trademark in a disparaging manner.
Galaxkey may modify these Guidelines from time to time.
Galaxkey trademarks may be used for the following purposes after obtaining consent from Galaxkey.
Advertising, promotional, and sales materials
Galaxkey logos can only be used by Galaxkey and its authorised resellers and licensees in advertising, promotional, and sales materials. These authorised parties may use the Galaxkey Logo only as stipulated in their agreement with Galaxkey and subject to the appropriate terms agreed by their contract with Galaxkey.
Compatibility
After obtaining prior consent from Galaxkey, developers may use a Galaxkey trademark on packaging or promotional/advertising materials to describe that their third- party product is compatible with the referenced Galaxkey product or technology.
Publications, seminars, conferences and workshops
You may use Galaxkey trademarks in connection with book titles, magazines, periodicals, seminars, conferences or workshops provided you comply with the terms of these Guidelines and have obtained prior consent from Galaxkey.
Company, products and service names
You may not use or register, in any form, any Galaxkey trademark, including Galaxkey-owned graphic symbols, logos, icons, or any variation thereof, as or as part of a company name, trade name, product name, or service name except as specifically noted in these Guidelines.
Galaxkey logo and Galaxkey-owned graphic symbols
You may not use the Galaxkey logo or any other Galaxkey-owned graphic symbol, logo, or icon on or in connection with websites, products, packaging, manuals, promotional/advertising materials or for any other purpose except with express consent from Galaxkey by obtaining a license from Galaxkey to do so.
Variations and modifications
You may not use a variation of the Galaxkey logo for any purpose. Third parties can’t use a variation, phonetic equivalent, foreign language equivalent, or abbreviation of a Galaxkey trademark for any purpose.
Disparaging manner
You may not use a Galaxkey trademark or any other Galaxkey-owned graphic symbol, logo, or icon in a disparaging or damaging manner.
Sponsorship and endorsement
You may not use a Galaxkey trademark, including Galaxkey-owned graphic symbols/logos, or icons, in a manner that would imply Galaxkey’s affiliation with or endorsement, sponsorship, or support of a third-party product or service.
Ownership Assertion
You may not assert rights over any Galaxkey trademark whether by incorporating a Galaxkey trademark into your own product or service names, trademarks, logos, company names, or domain names or seeking a trademark or domain name registration for any term that includes a Galaxkey brand.
Merchandise
You may not produce, sell or give-away merchandise items or any other Galaxkey trademark, including symbols, logos, or icons, without obtaining prior consent from Galaxkey.
Trade-dress
You may not imitate our trade-dress: Galaxkey’s packaging, website design, logos, or typefaces. You may not use or imitate any Galaxkey slogan or tagline.
Trademark bidding
You may not bid on any Galaxkey trademark (in any form) as a keyword on any search engine without prior consent from Galaxkey.
After obtaining permission to use our logos, only use them as per the terms of these Guidelines and ensure that you:
Accurately designate the status of Galaxkey trademarks by using the correct trademark symbol (®) to reflect Galaxkey’s ownership. Include our trademark symbol (®) in the following applications:
Use the appropriate trademark symbol (®) the first time the Galaxkey trademark appears in the text of the material. Appropriate Galaxkey terms must be used after the trademark the first time it appears in a printed piece, and as often as is reasonable after that.
Always spell and capitalise Galaxkey trademarks exactly as they are shown in Galaxkey’s list or presented to you for use by Galaxkey. Do not shorten or abbreviate Galaxkey’s product names and do not modify or make up names.
Include an attribution of Galaxkey’s ownership of its trademarks within the credit notice section of your product, product documentation, or other product communication where Galaxkey trademarks are used.
When Galaxkey is used to refer to our company, Galaxkey Ltd. rather than as a brand of product or services neither the (®) symbol should accompany references to Galaxkey when referred to as a company.
Below is a Galaxkey logo. It should be seen as an indication of Galaxkey’s logos and trademarks. Their status may change as we add new products and services, so please review this section in these Guidelines from time to time.
Please note that the absence of a product or service name or logo from here does not constitute a waiver of Galaxkey’s trademarks or other intellectual property rights in that name or logo.
