November 2020:

Galaxkey, the cybersecurity company that blends a perfect balance between the highest level of security and usability, has announced that Galaxkey Secure Workspace will be applied into the Department for Education to offer enhanced compliance and confidentiality for securely sharing files and documents.

After a successful pilot, the Education and Skills Funding Agency (ESFA) will utilise Galaxkey Secure Workspace to enable effective collaboration without disruption.

The ESFA is accountable for £58 billion of funding for the education and training sector, providing assurance that public funds are properly spent, achieves value for money for the taxpayer, and delivers the policies and priorities set by the Secretary of State.

Galaxkey Secure Workspace offers users a secure work environment where they can upload and share files and folders. Workspaces can be created for in-house users, along with external contacts with whom collaboration is required.

Galaxkey is delighted to be able to work with another significant public sector organisation, proving again that our three-layer encryption is truly world-class.

Randhir Shinde, CEO at Galaxkey said that “the relationship was built on flexibility and strong support”.

About the Department for Education

The Department for Education is responsible for children’s services and education, including early years, schools, higher and further education policy, apprenticeships and wider skills in England.

The ESFA brings together the former responsibilities of the Education Funding Agency (EFA) and Skills Funding Agency (SFA) to create a single agency accountable for funding education and skills for children, young people and adults.

Their vision is to support, develop and fund world-class education and skills provision for every learner to reach their potential, regardless of background.
